With legalization of marijuana in several US states and a 1990 study in which authors documented psychomotor deficits in infants breastfed by mothers using marijuana, there is a need for information on potential exposure to the breastfed infant. Our objective with this study was to quantify cannabinoids in human milk after maternal marijuana use. Teva Canada Limited is voluntarily recalling Teva-Valsartan/HCTZ 80/12.5 mg, 160/12.5 mg, 160/25 mg and 320/12.5 mg tablets. Teva Canada is proceeding with a Type I recall of the lot numbers noted above to the Retail Level with the knowledge of Health Canada.
